Terms and conditions
These terms apply to purchases of all Inter Tiles & Interiors products both online and in our showrooms. Before you place an order, if you have any questions relating to these terms and conditions please contact us.
We will treat all personal details provided as confidential. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party gains unauthorized access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from our Website or Showrooms.
Please check your measurements carefully. Estimates on quantity and size are given in good faith and we cannot be held responsible for inaccuracies made by our staff or the trades people we recommend. Tiles surplus to requirements cannot be returned.
Please note that colours are very difficult to reproduce on a computer screen because several different factors including the quality of your screen, colour balance of the photography and brightness/contrast of your monitor can affect the colour/shade representation. Please do not rely on the exact accuracy of the colours. Tiles cannot be guaranteed against shading and will be supplied from different batches if purchased at different times. Colours may vary slightly from any samples provided.
A deposit of at least 50% is required when placing a tile order and the balance must be paid in full before collection or delivery. Tiles being stored for over 30 days will require payment in full. All bespoke and special orders require payment in full at the time of order.
Local tile deliveries can be organised if notified at the time of order and require a minimum of 7 days notice. Tile deliveries are discretionary and priced on location, quantity and weight. Our staff cannot be expected to carry tiles up any staircases or any significant distance. The price will vary and be given on application. We often find customers find it more convenient to collect their tiles from our store at a time to suit. Please call the shop for more details. We cannot be held responsible for any damage done by a third party delivery company or supplier.
Shortages and breakages must be reported to us within 48 hours of delivery or we are unable to exchange or supply replacements. Breakages must be kept until further instructions. No tile collections can be made on Sundays.
We do not accept tiles for return unless the goods are faulty or differ considerably from the original display or sample. Natural stone products cannot be returned on the basis of colour or texture and they will require regular maintenance. They will vary considerably from the original sample both in colour and texture. Natural stone can also be prone to damage in shipment. It is usually appropriate to order an extra 10% and use breakages for cuts.
Crazing and slight imperfections can be an inherent feature on specialist tiles and add to the character of the product. We do not accept cancellations on any bespoke product and full payment is required at the time of order. Once orders are in transit handling charges are incurred and orders cannot be cancelled.
Goods must be carefully inspected before fitting. Once tiles are fixed they are no longer our responsibility.
An order may be cancelled by us if
a) we are unable to obtain payment
b) items are out of stock or discontinued
c) incorrect published price of goods
d) incorrect published description of goods
Adhesives & Grouts
Powder adhesive and grouts cannot be returned under any circumstances due to the fact that we would be unable to determine that they had been stored under the correct conditions and we, therefore, could not guarantee their resale quality.
